We all know what it's like to be under-appreciated, taken for granted, and "dumped on". Thankfully, our trash bins can relate. They're all around us, patiently putting up with their disparaging lot in life. What better characters to explore the humor and irony in our relationships and everyday lives?
"Working on 'Trash Talk' is liberating for me a lot of ways," says Dan Nicky, one of Trash Talk's writers and voice actors. "There are a lot of things you really want to say but don't have the guts to, until you get behind a trash can." Dan and creative director Theo Arnoldy are the "canned voices" of Trash Talk, often drawing from their personal experiences and stories to write and act out the wild and often sarcastic scenarios in this first series.
